CALLING ALL FOUR WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES FOR THE FIRST 10,000 4X4 RUN FROM CASHMAN FIELD TO THE BELTZ MALL ON LAS VEGAS BLVD. OCT. 30, 2001
If you are a 4x4 enthusiast or just drive off road to your favorite fishing, hunting or place to relax away from it all. Then don't stop reading. These freedoms are endangered of being lost for ever, if certain organizations have their way in converting public lands into wilderness areas. Once a wilderness area has been designated, then all mechanized modes of transportation including non-motorized vehicles, will be prohibited from entry into these areas, The 4x4 community does not appose the need for wilderness areas. If these are a must, for whatever reasons, then keep the access to these areas open. The existing roads and trails must remain open in all wilderness areas, for all people to enjoy. If motorized and non-motorized vehicles are prohibited from the wilderness areas, then expect to be physically fit enough or young enough or without any disability or have time enough to walk. Yes that's right walk 20, 30, 40, 50, or even hundreds of miles to your favorite camping spot. So BRING YOUR 4X4 AND join the run on Oct. 30 at 8:00 PM AT CASHMAN FIELD THEN down Las Vegas Blvd. TO THE BELTZ MALL, And show your support with posters, banners or flags to keep roads open. This will also be a good chance to meet the local 4x4 clubs for a chance to join or see what we are ALL about. Come and be counted for a possible world record, for the most 4x4 vehicles to drive down a major boulevard. Lets show the world that if all 4x4 vehicles are restricted to pavement then more pavement would be needed, and nobody wants that. Show your support !!!!! CONTACT WWW. VEGASVALLEY4WHEELERS.ORG FOR MORE INFORMATION.
