Day two began early and we set our sights on reaching the Hole In The Rock, where we stopped for lunch. There were a few minor obstacles (and one very large bump) before we reached our first major undertaking on the trail - The Chute.

The Chute is comprised of a group of hazards, really, starting with a drop-off (where a Suzuki was rolled on our EJS 2000 trip), the actual "chute" in the middle, and some very large, tire-eating holes at the bottom. One slip, and you get to find out what breaking an axle feels like. Everyone on this year's trip made it through with no problems, which, of course, had everything to do with this being an all-Jeep group.
