Brice Blackwell's 1975 CJ5-D

Brice Blackwell's 1975 CJ5-D

Brice purchased his Jeep after it had already been converted. He did some interior work and added a 3" body lift and 35" tires.

"Motor and tranny are stock and it runs great! I get more comments and looks daily than most people who paid a heck of a lot more for their Jeeps!!!"

Gary Wiley's 1973 DJ

Gary Wiley's 1973 DJ

Gary hasn't done much to his '73 DJ-5C. A little sanding, paint, new carpet, and a new exhaust system from front to rear. It had a stereo w/tape already installed (100watt R.M.S.). He added a good pair of AudioVox speakers. He hopes to find a seat for the passenger side soon. His next step will be to repaint the interior.

"I really don't want to stray too far from the 'Postal Jeepishness' of it. I'd like to preserve as much of that as I can. Mechanically it's in sound shape."

It has a newly rebuilt 232CI inline 6-cylinder AMC engine.

Mark Brown's 1976 DJ-5D Mark Brown's 1976 DJ-5D

Mark Brown's 1976 DJ-5D

Mark's DJ has a 232ci inline 6, of which he chromed whatever he could. He rebuilt the heads, but not the block.

He removed the mail tray and replaced it with a passenger seat. It has a 200 watt AM/FM/CD.

Mark added a custom 2-inch spring lift, and a single leaf heavy overload spring.

"The restoration is a family project for me, Chris (age 22), Brian (age 19), and Adam (age 13). Adam assisted in sanding and masking. Brian enjoys working under the hood. Chris enjoys riding in it. We call it bonding, but it could also be viewed as cheap labor."
