James "Utah Jim" and Diana Crane's 1997 Wrangler
"3 1/2 inch Teraflex Lift, New Transfer skid plate for extra clearance, One (1) inch body lift, Ramsey 8000 winch, Aftermarket front/rear bumpers,
4.10:1 gears rear Dana 44 with ARB lockers, 4.10:1 gears front Dana 30 with ARB lockers, 33x1250 BFG Mud Terrains, AR 63 wheels, 4:1 Gear Swap in the
Transfer Case.
Me and my wife (Diana) have been to Moab for the last three years and have strained gears and nerves on all 4+ rated trails, as classified by the Red
Rock Four Wheeler of Moab. We have attended the Spring Jeep Safari and also the Fall Safari. We have been to Dan Micks Free-For-All the past
three (3) years as well as Pre-Safari events sponsored by the MEPCO Jeep Club of Midvale, Utah.
My Jeep (TAZ) was worked on by MEPCO for the Suspension and Body lift, as well as the new Low-Profile Transfer Skid Plate and 4:1 gear swap in the
Xfer case.
My 4.10:1 gears and ARB lockers were installed by Jeff Beech, here in Salt Lake City. (An avid four-wheeler himself).
I have had the pleasure of sharing two trails with Kevin Hawkins and Phil Howell.
We were with Dan Mick, Kevin and Phil Howell the first time Dan went on the Rusty Nail in the Northwest direction.
My Jeep has performed very well since my first trail ride March 25, 1997 with the MEPCO Club on Hell's Revenge, where I first met Dan Mick. It has
cleared every obstacle with out the strap, except for the Rock Pile on Prichett Canyon Trail. The pictures I have enclosed are 1: The Bath Tub
on pritchett and 2: The "Chute" on the Golden Spike Trail.
I have to admit that the Rock Climbing challenges are getting a little out of my interest band, as well as most other people. This is
specialized wheeling that 98% of the readers will never get into. I think more publicized trips (with GPS coordinates) would be of interest to
people. I would like to be able to travel to other states and explore these trails/trips using the GPS information."

Gordon Robertson's 1999 Wrangler
Gordon's TJ was transplanted from Idaho and now lives in Scotland.
"My Jeep is an imported '99 TJ from Idaho. I run a Jeep Club here in Scotland - namely Scottish Jeep Club (scjeepclub@aol.com).
We were represented in the UK Jeep World magazine with a trip to the Corriack Pass 44 miles off very barren highland hills and
mountains with fast flowing rivers from the melting snow and no bridges to cross (the Corriack Pass is near Loch Ness). One minute it's beautiful,
and the next there are blizzards up to 70 m.p.h. and -10 in the hills (survival of the fittest)."

Shawn Hutchinson's 1997 Wrangler
"I have a '97 Wrangler with 3" of body lift and 2" of suspension lift. Its
got a flowmaster, a pacesetter header and an intake fabricated out of 3"
exhaust pipe and a K&N. Ive got a set of 6" KC lights and a front end and
brush guard. Nerf bars. And a set of BFG 33x12.5 mudders wrapped around a
set of 15x10 american racing bajas. Even added a set of 6x9 speakers and cd
player."
