speakers, plus numerous other additions that
continue to drain my bank account, including
a 1993 LT1 motor&trans sitting in my bedroom
on the 9th floor! (To be installed fall of '97).


Buddy Nesbitt's 1995 Jeep Wrangler Rio Grande
Buddy's YJ boasts the following:
Custom 4 1/2" suspension lift, 2 1/2" body lift,
custom shackle reversall, 12.50x35x15 tires on
AR wheels, Rhino Lined interior, Steel Horse
trail rack with fuel cans, Steel Horse defender

Corey Ferguson's 1988 YJ Sport
GoodYear Wrangler AT 30"x9.50" tires mounted on
15"x10" American Racing Outlaw II wheels, stainless
steel mirrors, hood latches, and tire stop. Bestop
Supertop with the 2-piece doors, SS light bar with
4 KC's, new carpet set. JVC CD player and a Rockford
Fosgate Punch 100 amp with 2 Fosgate 10" subs.
New 4.2 liter 6, new exhaust system, new leaf
springs giving me about an inch-and-a-half of
lift. He has recently added chrome rock guards
and and a SS radiator guard.
Future plans include some sort of locker, chrome
2-tube front bumper, chrome nerf bars, a chrome
2 tube rear bumper, and a Windjammer curtain
and tonneau cover to supplement his bikini top.


Derrell Hutton's 1991 Wrangler
Derrell's YJ has a 3-inch add-a-leaf lift, 10X15 American Racing rims with 33x12.50x15
Thornbirds, and a bumper kit from 4WheelParts.
Future plans include a shackle lift to get more height for the 33's.


Dave Christensen's 1988 Wrangler
Purchased new, all work done by Dave. AMC 258, rebuilt .030 over, Howell TBI,
Optima battery, glass-pack muffler, NP231 transfer case with MIT kit, AMC 999 transmission,
spring-over with YJ/Skyjacker combo springs, Rancho shocks, 5" Con-Ferr shackles,
Warrior front shackle inversion, AGR gear box 2, custom drag link and tie rod,
Off Your Rocker panels, Tomken rear bumper, Currie shorty on the front, Dana 30/35
4.56 with ARBs soon to be replaced by Ford 9's. 33x12.50/15 BFG Mud Terrain's,
rear disc brakes, Xenon training flares, Rhino lined, Ramsey REP 9000, and as many other
modifications as time and money permit.
Trails run (mostly west): Las Cruces, Moab, Dakota Challenge, Colorado, Cascades, Rubicon, etc.

Cullen Wymore's 1995 Wrangler
Cullen's YJ has a 2.5L I-4, 5-speed, Dyno Max muffler, high-flow cat and 1-3/4" tail pipe,
K&N air filter, 32X11.5 BFG MT's on 7" American Racing wheels, 2" body lift, 4" ProComp Springs,
Rancho RS9000 shocks, SmittyBilt front tube bumper, KC lights in front, NAPA implement lights
on back, ACME hard top, home-fabricated diamond plate rocker panels and frame guards,
custom-built front recovery hooks, custom sway bar disconnects, and Bestop storage boxes for
trail equipment.


James "Mud" Buckley's 1995 Wrangler
James' YJ has a 5-speed, '97 4.0 motor with '95 heads (better compression),
120-amp alternator, Gibson exhaust, Currie tail shaft kit, custom CV
driveshaft rear, Ford 8.8 rear with 31-spline shafts and a Detroit
softlocker, and 4wheel disc brakes. The front axle has a Detroit EZ Locker
with upgraded universal joints, solid Warn shafts(no disconnect motor for me)
and custom drive shaft with a home brewed Trac-bar disconnect for that extra
droop. A Herculined interior, Tomken rear bumper and tire carrier with a
class IV ("yeah..like I'll ever use it for that") hitch, Smittybuilt
(guaranteed to rust) nerfbars, Sierra front bumper with two Hella 530 fogs
and a Ramsey rep8000 winch, 180 feet of chain and straps plus different types
of snatch blocks and shackles to go with it, Carr rotobar with 6 Hella 530's,
windshield mounted ProComp 130-watt stainless steels, Cobra CB, CD player
inside the Tuffy console, clinometer, swaybar disconnects, no rear trackbar,
3/4 Elliptical rear (buggy) spring, 2" body lift with a 4" BDS spring lift
and Conferr shackles for that extra 1.5" of lift for the 35x12.50 BFG MT's on
15x8.5 Progressive rims, K&N filter and a custom underhood snorkle, and the
full collection of bikinis, tonneaus and dusters along with a factory soft
top, Sunrider from Besttop and the factory hardtop with A/C, and it scores a
874 on a 25-degree ramp. That was after some trimming with the saws-all on
the rear fender openings and relocating the Zenon extended fender
flares...and it still rubs some!!
"My next steps are either a Dana44 from a FSJ or upgrade to the Warn Hub kit, 5 on 5.5
of course."

Competition subs.
Things soon to come: Rubicon Express tail shaft conversion kit, JKS Sway bar quick-disconnects,
brake line extenders, heavy-duty radiator, 3.73 gears with ARB's front and rear
("'cause the 3.07's are great on the freeway but on the trail they SUCK!"- Chris),
bigger alternator, Ramsey 9000lb winch, and a dual battery setup.

have conquered Hollister, Pismo, and other trails, and always willing to try new trails.

Ryan's YJ has 36x12.5 Super Swampers on Outlaw II's, dual-tube bumpers, Hellas on the
windshield hinges and on front bumper, 4.2L 5spd, 4-inch springs, 1.25-inch shackles,
3-inch body lift, Trailmaster shocks, limited slip in front, EZ Locker in the rear, headers,
chip, stainless exhaust, K&N filter, custom 11-speaker stereo, Rockford Fosgate 3.5's,
6.5's, 4x6's, 6x9's, 2 DVC 8" subs, 1 DVC 12" sub, 2 amps (Punch 40x2 and Punch 125x2),
4-volt Clarion CD head unit and 6-disc changer to complete the stereo.
He takes it in the woods on weekends, everyday driver during the week. Original paint
and interior.


Alan Wicker's 1994 Wrangler
Alan's YJ has a 4.0l, spring-over suspension with 32x11.50 BFG Mud
Terrains on the stock aluminum wheels and Rancho 9000's damping the
bumps. EZ lockers front and rear, York on board air compressor and a 48"
Hi-Lift jack. He will be upgrading to a full rollcage, rear buggy leaf
and 4.10 gears soon.
