Tim Cooper's 1989 Wrangler
What you may find "different" about Tim's rig is that none of the
modifications and upgrades were paid for!
He wheels Lockwood Valley trail, Big Bear, plays on Mt. Pinos in the snow,
and has survived "Fun in the Sun" without breaking anything (no mean feat!).

Doug Fritz's 1991 Jeep Wrangler S
Doug bought his '91 YJ 'S' new and has done his best to marry daily driving and
off-highway driving. After 175,000 miles, his Jeep has amassed the following:
The 2.5l engine now has a Turbo City 'Rock-it' tube and K&N filter. A Clifford
header replaced the stock exhaust manifold, and mates to a 'high-flow' cat and
muffler. He has a Rubicon Express 2-1/2" suspension lift with Explorer ProComp
ES3000 shocks, and a 1" body lift. It runs 32x11.50 BFG Mud Terrains on 5-spoke
steel wheels from a '94 YJ. He replaced the stock 4.11 gears with 4.56 and put a
lockright in the rear. A custom bumper/tire carrier protects the Jeep and holds
the spare tire up and out of the way. A set of Rubicon Express quick disconnects
help keep the track bar from limiting travel while off-highway. The Currie front
tow shackles provide a tow point if the need ever arises. A pair of KC Daylighters
provide extra light for the 'night runs'. Smittybuild nerf bars serve as protection
against rocks.
