Skid Row Automotive

Skid Row Automotive Big bad armor for your Jeep. Extremely well designed and large enough to cover your Jeep's vital underside, Skid Row skid plates are made from 3/16" steel plate to keep those metal-eating rocks away from your oilpan. Since your motor obviously can't run without oil, and your Wrangler did not include this skid plate from the factory, you need to add protection to your Jeep yourself.

Installation is fairly easy, even for those of you that are new to working on your Jeep; five bolts (seven for the 4.0L) and you're done! It's really that easy.

What We Really Think
Skid Row Automotive If you've ever done any serious 'wheeling, you know that rocks love to jump up and ruin your day even when you think you are being so-o-o careful. Give those rocks something to think about! Bullet-proof armor for your Jeep is an absolute essential - don't wait until it's too late!

Skid Row products were designed by a Jeeper with your vehicle in mind. Eric, president of Skid Row Automotive, is a mechanical engineer and has tested his products all over the country from Tellico to Moab, and we'll vouch for the quality and durability of his products.

Skid Row skid plates offer easy, bolt-on installation, and require no modifications to your Jeep. Their plate covers two vital components - your oilpan and transmission - that, if damaged, could leave you walking home. Don't chance it, get some Skid Row armor.

We've just returned from testing our Skid Row TJ plate in Moab, where it saw a lot of use and saved us more than a few times. As tough as Moab is on Jeeps, the Skid Row armor held its ground and our TJ made it out alive. We just should have installed it before our oilpan received a big dent a few years ago!

"Skid Row Automotive was founded to provide off-roaders with products that are either unique to the off-road market or are superior to what is currently offered. Keeping the special needs of the off-roader in mind, our products are designed to be tough enough to withstand any trail."
